When the address matters

A landmark venue suits a client event, a milestone year or a party you want everyone to attend. The name on the invitation does a lot of the work. These buildings often come with house rules on caterers, décor and finish times, so read the terms before you design the evening.

Palaces, houses and inns of court

The Pavilion at Kensington Palace (800) has a terrace over the palace gardens. The Orangery & The Sunken Garden takes 300. Lancaster House (350) is managed by the Foreign Commonwealth Office. Lincoln's Inn East Terrace (450) opens onto the Inn's gardens. Gray's Inn Marquee (1,000) sits in five acres of private gardens.

City, river and sport

The Reveller (320) is a short walk from Tower Hill. ZSL London Zoo takes 700. Kia Oval Corinthian Roof Terrace (600) is covered, with the pitch on one side. Somerset House, Fountain Court holds 2,500 in a courtyard framed by neoclassical wings. East Wintergarden (1,000) is a glass building in Canary Wharf with a 27-metre arched roof.
