Working with Design Research Studio under the creative direction of renowned British designer Tom Dixon, the hotel captures the essence of the original building, exuding 1920s cruise ship glamour integrated with the modern twists and sophisticated design for which the Mondrian brand is known. Guests will immediately be drawn to the giant, copper clad wall inspired by the hull of a ship, running from outside the building, through to the lobby and on to the river side of the hotel. Experience underwater tranquillity and specialised treatments at agua Bathhouse Spa, sample delicious food using locally sourced ingredients at Sea Containers restaurant, where outdoor seating along the river walk is also available, and sample innovative cocktails from Mr Lyan at Dandelyan with its iconic green marble bar and dramatic views of the Thames. The most glamorous of spaces is our rooftop bar, Rumpus Room, with its glass box structure and outdoor terrace, featuring panoramic views over London. Rumpus Room Boasting some of the finest views of London, Rumpus Room is a magical glittering glass box perched atop Mondrian. Specialising in bubbly, with an extensive list of the world’s best champagnes as well as classic and specialty cocktails, the space is ideal for receptions and parties for up to 250 guests.
