Summer party venues in Shoreditch

Rooftops

Seven of the spaces here are on a roof. At the Aviary, on the 10th floor of the Montcalm Royal London House Hotel in Finsbury Square, you can hire the 10th floor for up to 250 guests, the 9th floor Penthouse Palm Terrace for 120, or the Glass Box for 50. Laurel's On The Roof is a rooftop restaurant, bar and pool with a 1970s Los Angeles theme, for up to 100. Queen Of Hoxton Rooftop takes up to 300, TT Liquor 120 and Pineapple Xpress 40.

Gardens and courtyards

Shoreditch Gardens is the largest space in the area, with lawns set against Grade I listed almshouses for up to 800 guests. For smaller groups there is the heated, covered Backyard at The Light Bar (100), the covered Andalusian-style BiBo Courtyard at Mondrian Shoreditch (40) and Colours Hoxton on Hoxton Square (250). Games and activities

If you want your team doing something, The Bowls Club LDN sets short games of lawn bowls in an English country garden theme, with street food and cocktails. It takes up to 650 guests, and the whole venue can also be hired. Shuffle Club offers table shuffleboard for up to 300. More ideas are on our summer activities page.

Bars for smaller teams

Seven spaces suit 100 guests or fewer. For team drinks there are two small bars: Vagabond Shoreditch, a wine bar near Brick Lane with a heated roof terrace (65), and the outdoor Pergola at Camino Shoreditch (80).

Getting there

Liverpool Street and Shoreditch High Street are each the nearest station for five of these spaces, then Old Street and Moorgate (two each) and Aldgate (one). Liverpool Street is on the Elizabeth, Central, Circle, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan lines, which gives good links across London.
