The whole company

London Summer House is purpose-built for summer events, a walk from the London Eye and Royal Festival Hall, for up to 2,000 guests. London City Beach is a pop-up beach with food stalls, beach huts and games, for 800. Bar Elba has a rooftop with a tropical look (700), and the two-storey Riverfront and Balcony Bar at BFI Southbank takes 590. Boule Bar adds pétanque to street food and drinks (350).

Sea Containers

The Sea Containers building has several spaces to choose from. Level 13 (All Rooms) takes up to 600, Sunset 350, the Roof Terrace with 360-degree views 225, and Sea Containers itself 250. Cucumber and Level 12 (All Rooms) each take 200, and Level 12 can be split into smaller rooms.

Rooftop terraces

On the roof of the National Theatre, Buffini Chao Deck takes up to 200 and The Deck 180. The roof terrace at Doggett's Coat and Badge looks over St Paul's, the City and The Shard (120), and its heated Pavilion has a retractable roof (90).

Smaller groups

Five spaces suit 100 guests or fewer. The Summer Terrace at Brasserie Blanc sits under a wisteria canopy behind the Royal Festival Hall (30). Paradiso offers a terrace at Gabriel's Wharf (80), a patio (40) and a river-view balcony (36), and Limin Southbank takes 120.

Getting there
