Warehouses and docks
Tobacco Dock in Wapping takes up to 2,000 guests, and its Roof Top has croquet, pétanque, foosball and ping pong for 600. City Summer House pairs a private garden with an indoor warehouse space, also for 600, so you are covered whatever the weather. At St Katharine Docks, The Drill Deck has arches and a view of the Thames, for 150.
Big Penny Social, Walthamstow
Three of the spaces are at Big Penny Social. Hire the whole venue for up to 1,600, the Garden & Event Space with a shipping container bar and set-up for DJs and bands for 900, or the sand-covered Beach for 150.
Terraces near Tower Bridge and Aldgate

Getting there
These spaces are spread out, so check the station before you share the invite. Blackhorse Road, on the Victoria line, serves the three spaces at Big Penny Social. Aldgate East, Shadwell and Tower Hill serve two each, and Shoreditch High Street and Bow Road one each. Shadwell is on the Overground and the DLR.
