Summer party venues in Holborn

Inns of Court gardens

Two of the Inns of Court host summer parties here. Gray's Inn Marquee is set within five acres of private gardens and takes up to 1,000 guests. Lincoln's Inn North Lawn offers lawns and terraces beside its historic halls for up to 300.

Hotel rooftops

The NYX Hotel has two options: the Glasshouse on the 10th floor, with views across central London, for up to 100, and Sky Bar Holborn, a penthouse bar with rooftop terrace and conservatory, for up to 200. The AMANO Rooftop Bar is on the 7th floor of AMANO Covent Garden (120), and The Derby Rooftop looks over King's Cross and the City from the 5th floor (60).

Bloomsbury courtyards and hotels

BMA House Courtyard is enclosed by the building on three sides and takes up to 320, while the BMA House Garden, planted with medicinal plants, suits 80. At the Kimpton Fitzroy, Palm Court has a glass ceiling and plenty of greenery for up to 180, and the restored Grand Ballroom has its own entrance on Bernard Street. Dalloway Terrace suits groups of up to 50.

Larger and shared parties

Barrio Covent Garden is the largest Barrio site, for up to 700 guests. If you only have a small team, Cocktails in the City runs a shared, ticketed summer party on set dates.

Getting there

Holborn is the nearest station for three of these spaces, then Covent Garden, Euston and Russell Square (two each). Holborn is on the Central and Piccadilly lines, and Russell Square and Covent Garden are on the Piccadilly line. Several venues are also a short walk from Covent Garden and King's Cross.
