The Museum of London is part of the striking Barbican complex of buildings created in the 60s and 70s after bomb damage in the City. The Museum tells the story of London and its people from the Great Fire of 1666 to the present day and was recently redeveloped to create an impressive contemporary venue. The museum uses its incredible collection of objects and personal stories to inspire a passion for London. Located in the heart of the City, the Museum of London is a recognised industry leader in promoting sustainability, with its green roof, rainwater harvesting programme and bee-friendly wild meadow.

The well-known venue is perfect for summer parties, boasting the following summer event spaces:

TERRACE ROOMS- The three stylish Terrace Rooms are well-equipped for business functions and offer a tranquil private garden area for breaks or post-conference receptions for up to 80 guests.

TERRACE GALLERY- The Terrace Gallery provides a beautiful setting for an evening reception with a range of menus to match from canapés and fork buffets to barbecues and hog roasts. It can host dinners for up to 90 guests and receptions for 120.

GARDEN ROOM- The Garden Room is adjacent to the Terrace Gallery. The two rooms can be combined with the garden to create reception space for up to 200 guests. It can be used a venue in its own right for smaller dinners up to 60 guests. Why not hold your day time conference here and stay a little longer for a relaxing time with your colleagues? Larger events can be also of course catered for and take place in the museums Galleries or Sackler Hall.
