Westminster Abbey Summer Party Venue

Situated on a site with a rich history spanning over 900 years, Westminster Abbey has been cultivated continuously since the eleventh century. The Abbey’s first infirmary garden was established here, and remnants of its historical features include the stone precinct walls from the fourteenth century and five tall plane trees planted in 1849. Available for just five weeks each year, College Garden stands as an unforgettable garden party location, a rare treat for those fortunate enough to secure it. The venue effortlessly impresses guests, creating an enchanting atmosphere with subtle lighting and a display of royal effigies, including the funeral effigies of King Charles II and King Henry VII, enriching the overall experience in the Undercroft.

Boasting splendid views of the Abbey and the Victoria Tower, a section of the Palace of Westminster, College Garden provides an idyllic setting for receptions, dinners, lunches, or daytime business conferences. During June and July, a stylish marquee with a decked porch area, glass front, and sides is provided. For events outside of these months, arrangements can be made for a marquee to accommodate your gathering.
